Content seems to be everywhere nowadays. Every other company is launching a podcast, trying to beat each other with witty cat memes on social media and providing not-so-gentle sales-heavy insights into their products in their blogs. While I still stand by the fact that content is king, there are certain tendencies that inexperienced marketers love that are actually killing your content strategy. Your content should be, by definition, something engaging and interesting and in particular, tailored to your customer’s buying journey. The best content is given to the consumer just when they need it.
